Primary production advocacy & engagement
BAFFA provides focused advocacy on behalf of Bundaberg primary producers. It lobbies for change using working groups to share ideas and build a collective voice. BAFFA provides submissions to enquiries where relevant and is the local Bundaberg voice to all levels of government.
Foresight
BAFFA provides avenues for information sharing, access to experts and industry knowledge, decision makers and forums. It supports skills, research and development as well as continued local policy development, analysis and evaluation.
Social license
BAFFA is the voice of the primary production sector for the Bundaberg region. It communicates the importance of the primary production sector and flow-on effects whilst driving and building community sentiment, support and trust.
Electricity Bill Check Service
BAFFA can work with primary producers to ensure their electricity usage is aligned with the most cost effective tariff to minimise c/kWh cost. We collate and review historical usage data to recognise potential trends or usage requirements as well as discuss future plans that may benefit from switching tariffs.
